Family Service Association is looking for a caring Financial Supervisor for our Guardianship and Rep. Payee program We are offering a full time 35 hour work week, with a partial hybrid remote day time schedule.
The Guardianship / Rep Payee Financial Supervisor essential duties and responsibilities:
- Assist with the initial and on-going asset management for clients.
- Provide guidance and supervision to 3-5 financial staff.
- Responsible for oversight of financial documents for Probate Court including yearly court accountings and inventories.
- Provide oversight for applications for MassHealth, Medicare, secondary insurance and long term-care when applicable.
- Responsible for completing reports for agency including audits.
- Triage and balance competing priorities.
- Work independently as well as part of a Team.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Minimum of Associates Degree in Accounting.
- 5+ years of accounting experience.
- Working knowledge of tax matters including annuities.
- 2+ years of supervisory experience.
- Knowledge of MassHealth eligibility.
- Experience working in human services.
