Position Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate, dedicated, and responsible caregiver to provide high-quality care and assistance to individuals who require help with daily activities due to aging, illness, injury, or disability. The caregiver will ensure a safe, comfortable, and supportive environment for clients, while also promoting independence, dignity, and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Personal Care Assistance:
    Provide assistance with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and personal hygiene.
  • Mobility Support:
    Help clients with walking, transferring between bed, chair, and wheelchair, as well as other mobility-related needs.
  • Medication Management:
    Assist clients with medication reminders, ensuring medications are taken as prescribed. In some cases, may assist with organizing or administering medication under the supervision of healthcare professionals.
  • Meal Preparation and Feeding:
    Plan and prepare nutritious meals based on client preferences and dietary requirements. Assist clients with eating if necessary.
  • Companionship:
    Provide emotional support and companionship, engage in meaningful conversation, and encourage participation in social or recreational activities.
  • Housekeeping and Light Duties:
    Perform light housekeeping duties such as cleaning, laundry, and organizing to maintain a safe and clean environment.
  • Monitoring Health and Well-being:
    Observe and report any changes in the client's health or behavior to the appropriate family members, supervisor, or healthcare team.
  • Transportation Assistance:
    Provide or assist with transportation to appointments, errands, or social events as needed.

Qualifications:
  • Education:
    High school diploma or equivalent. Certification in caregiving or a related field (CNA, HHA, or similar) is preferred but not required.
  • Experience:
    Previous experience in caregiving, healthcare, or a related field is a plus. Training and support will be provided.
  • Skills:
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
    • Patience, empathy, and understanding of client's needs.
    • Ability to handle physical tasks (e.g., lifting, transferring).
    • Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions carefully.
    • Ability to maintain confidentiality and respect client privacy.

Physical Demands:
  • Ability to lift, push, or pull up to [50] pounds
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, or sit for extended periods
  • Ability to assist with mobility and physical tasks

Working Conditions:
  • Flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Some positions may require travel for errands, appointments, or events

Additional Requirements:
  • Criminal background check
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (if applicable)
  • Current CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
