Job description

We are looking for a Receptionist to manage our front desk on a daily basis and to perform a variety of administrative and clerical tasks. As a Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our company. Our Receptionist’s duties include offering administrative support across the organization. You will welcome guests and greet people who visit the business. You will coordinate front-desk activities, including distributing correspondence and redirecting phone calls. To be successful as a Receptionist, you should have a pleasant personality, as this is also a customer service role. Multitasking and stress management skills are essential for this position. Ultimately, a Receptionist’s duties and responsibilities are to ensure the front desk welcomes guests positively, and executes all administrative tasks to the highest quality standards.

Duties:
  •  Greet and welcome visitors in a professional and friendly manner.
  •  Answer and direct phone calls to appropriate individuals or departments.
  •  Provide information to callers and visitors regarding company services, policies, and procedures.
  •  Schedule appointments and maintain calendars for staff members.
  •  Assist with event planning and coordination.
  •  Perform clerical tasks such as filing, photocopying, and scanning documents.
  •  Enter orders and maintain accurate records in the system.
  •  Maintain a clean and organized reception area.

Experience:
  •  Previous experience as a front desk receptionist or in a similar customer service role is preferred.
  •  Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
  •  Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  •  Proficient in using office equipment such as computers, printers, and fax machines.
  •  Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
  •  Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
