Job descriptionJob descriptionFast paced Cardiology office seeking a motivated self-starter for our Cardiac Stress Lab. The Cardiac Stress Technician will perform various cardiac stress testing, (nuclear and non-nuclear), administration of exercise and pharmacological stress tests and application of ACLS measures to patients when directed. Our office is open 8-5 so there will be no call or weekend work required.
Duties will include:
  • Clinical chart preparation, reviews current medication list and past medical history
  • Performs EKG and monitors patient during stress testing
  • Assess patient’s blood pressure, pulse and respiration.
  • Monitor patient through 12 lead EKG stress testing including rhythm identification and interpretation
  • Assures completeness of test reports
  • Maintains Stress Lab Inventory (crash cart supplies, emergency drugs)
  • Assists other members of the Diagnostic Team with testing
  • All other duties as assigned

ACLS certification required*Experience placing 12 lead EKG, proficient in monitoring rhythm identification and ability to interpret required. *EMT, Paramedic, or previous experience with cardiac stress testing preferred.Certified Cardiography Technician is preferred*This posting is not comprehensive of all duties that CTHC stress technicians perform. *
Schedule:
  • Monday through Thursday, 8:00am to 5:00pm; Friday 8:00am to 12:00pm 
  • Full time position 40-hour work week - Day shift
  • No weekends
  • Ability to commute/relocate:
    • Bryan, TX 77802: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Applicants with previous experience listed on their resume working as an EMT, Paramedic, LVN, RN, Cardiac Technician (clinical experience), or applicants with recent experience matching the duties of the job description are encouraged to apply.

    • BLS Certification (Preferred)
    • ACLS Certification Required
