Successful applicants must be professional, detail oriented, and dependable, with exceptional communication and customer service skills. Familiarity with Cornerstone is a plus. This position requires dedication to team building and staff training.
Required Skills:
- Surgical assisting
- Anesthesia monitoring
- Dental prophylaxis
- Placement of IV catheters
- Venipuncture
- Radiography
- Operation of laboratory equipment.
- Ability to train others.
- Licensure or equivalent experience.
Knowledge Required:
- Medical records standards
- Vaccination protocols
- Client education
- Small animal anatomy
- Disease processes
- Patient restraint
- Effective leadership and workflow management.
