Snowmaker Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Snowmaker to join our team at Brian Head Resort in Utah. As a Snowmaker, you will play a critical role in ensuring the resort's snowmaking equipment is operated and maintained to produce high-quality snow for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate and maintain snowmaking equipment to produce high-quality snow.
  • Practice safe snowmaking procedures to minimize environmental impact.
  • Set up, move, and adjust snowmaking machines to optimize snow production.
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on snowmaking equipment as needed.
  • Collaborate with other Mountain Operations departments to ensure seamless snowmaking operations.
Requirements:
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Valid driver's license and Motor Vehicle Report required.
  • Basic mechanical skills and ability to operate snowmobiles or all-terrain vehicles.
Work Environment:

Must be able to work and hike in high-elevation, inclement weather conditions, and at night. Must be able to lift, push, or drag up to 150 pounds and climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, and operate controls.
