A Food Production Plant on the East Side of the San Antonio/Schertz area is seeking a motivated Dock Coordinator to join their team full-time. As a Dock Coordinator, your responsibilities will include keeping the loading dock clean at all times and ensuring proper compliance with shipping and receiving operations.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor yard crop shipping and receiving responsibilities
• Ensure the safety of all equipment
• Assist with cleaning activities and pest control (sweeping, sanitation, disposal of leftover food products)
• Responsible for manufacturing, distributing and consistently maintaining safe and quality food by following current good manufacturing practices, allergen/sanitation controls, food defense/food fraud, HACCP/FSMA, SQF, and regulatory requirements Aware and accountable for maintaining and documenting preventative controls necessary to ensure food safety and quality
• Responsible for immediately reporting all food safety and quality issues to management
• Responsible for partnering with others, sharing knowledge, skills, and information within assigned teams and across functional areas
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Ability to work outside in varying temperatures
• At least 1 year of manufacturing experience is preferred, but not required
• Ability to stand for 8-12 hours a day
• Safety-oriented mindset
• Willingness to learn and grow
• Team player
• Basic math skills
• Ability to speak, read, and write fluently in English
• Must be willing to undergo a background and drug screen.

Starting Pay:

• $16/hr

Shift:

• 7 am-3 pm
