Full job description
We are seeking a skilled and experienced General Ophthalmologist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive eye care services to patients of all ages.  This is currently a part time half day a week at a busy multi-specialty clinic.  
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Perform comprehensive eye exams and diagnose and treat eye diseases and conditions.
  • Prescribe medications and corrective lenses as needed.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide coordinated patient care.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records.
  • Stay current with advances in ophthalmology and participate in continuing education and professional development activities.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree.
  • Completion of an accredited ophthalmology residency program.
  • Board certification in ophthalmology.
  • Valid state medical license.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment.

Hourly 125/hr - 150/hr depending on experience.  This is a part-time half-day a week position.
