Job Title: Front Desk Coordinator

Job Description:

As the Front Desk Coordinator at our esteemed podiatrist medical clinic, you play a pivotal role in creating the first impression for our patients. You will be the face of our clinic, ensuring a welcoming and organized environment for both new and returning patients. Your responsibilities extend beyond mere administrative tasks, involving patient interaction, multitasking, and maintaining the overall efficiency of the office.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Patient Check-In and Check-Out: Efficiently manage the check-in and check-out process for patients, Provide a warm and welcoming environment ensuring a positive experience for all patients. 
  • Insurance Verification: Verify patients' insurance coverage and communicate relevant information regarding co-pays and deductibles and Assist patients in understanding their insurance plans and financial responsibilities. 
  • Appointment Management: Schedule and confirm patient appointments. Send out timely appointment reminders and confirmations to minimize no-shows. 
  • New Patient Reviews: Facilitate the process of gathering and distributing new patient reviews. 
  • Phone Handling and Multitasking: Answer and manage phone calls professionally, demonstrating excellent multitasking skills throughout the day. 
  • Office Preparation: Prepare the office in the morning, ensuring the lobby and front desk area are neat and welcoming for incoming patients. 
  • Financial Management: Balance financial transactions at the end of each day to ensure accurate accounting. Handle monetary transactions with precision and integrity. 
  • Flow Control: Manage the flow of the office, ensuring a smooth and organized patient experience. Address front desk concerns promptly and effectively. 

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a medical office setting preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Proficient in using office equipment and computer systems.
  • Understanding of medical insurance procedures and billing.
