You will be involved in all aspects of the Accounting cycle: A/P, A/R, General Ledger, monthly closing, Financial Reporting, training, learning new skills, and many ad-hoc projects. As new accounting technologies leap forward with AI, Bednark Studio will be improving and redefining its processes and software stack, therefore the finance team must not only be able to embrace change, but act as change agents, leading the organization with new processes and software to increase operational efficiencies starting with accounting.

You are highly motivated, organized, reliable, dynamic, upbeat, personable, team-oriented, and able to balance a keen attention to detail with a focus on the big picture.

Most importantly, you have professional integrity, are trustworthy, mature, and capable of handling confidential information.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
  • Manage all aspects of A/P including entries, payments, account reconciliations, establish relationships with vendors, maintain electronic files, ensure tax is being calculated when applicable, and many ad-hoc projects.
  • Collaborate with Controller restructuring accounting processes, implementation of process and training other departments.
  • Asst in the integration of new systems and make recommendations pertaining to workflows and improvements across accounting.
  • Act as right hand to Controller.
