RN/LPN Baylor ($3 extra per hour)
6am to 10pm every Saturday and Sunday

Calvin Community is seeking full-time RN/LPN (Registered Nurses and Licensed Practical Nurses), who can multi-task, work independently or as a team, work in a fast-paced environment, have a positive attitude, and love helping others.

Typical Duties:
  • Taking and monitoring patient vital signs.
  • Administering medication.
  • Communicating changes in patient behavior or health status to unit managers and family members.
  • Maintaining accurate patient charts and records.
  • Collecting specimen samples when needed.
  • Developing personalized patient care and treatment plans.
  • Serving as a trusted resource to other.
  • Assisting in medical procedures.
  • Supervising nursing staff.
  • Managing emergency medical situations.

  • Ability to build long-term relationships with patients and caregivers.
  • Patience working in stressful conditions.
  • Strong observation and assessment skills.

Qualifications:
  • Valid RN license in good standing.
  • License must be valid within the state of Iowa, or the ability to activate.
  • Current, valid CPR Certification.
  • Knowledge of federal and state long-term care regulations and laws.
