Clean Harbors is seeking a Truck-to-Truck Technician at our Laurel, MD facility who will be responsible for the movement and placement of waste from Clean Harbors’ facilities and direct generators. This position will be helping with the office work- manifests, offloading box trucks, sending emails, printing labels for the team, and operating a forklift.

Shift: 7 am-3 pm Monday-Friday; OT and weekends as needed

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensuring that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times;
  • Day-to-day planning, transfer coordination, and execution of proper paperwork for Truck to Truck drum management;
  • Monitors and ensures that all key deadlines are met and proper follow-up is implemented to ensure proper drum transfer compliance requirements; ten (10) day compliance periods;
  • Communication with proper management on issues related to compliance, DOT, and other issues that could impact the business and compliance.

What does it take to work for Clean Harbors?
  • Forklift experience;
  • Basic computer experience with knowledge of Microsoft Office;
  • High School diploma or equivalent;
  • 1 plus years work related experience;
  • Shipping and receiving experience preferred; 
  • Good organizational and communication skills.
