Summary

Assembler are expected to possess the skills or abilities as listed below Dexterity to work around simple assemblies or subassemblies, box assembly 

Roles & Responsibilities
  • Assembler 1 is responsible to perform the duties in the Manufacturing cell and station that they have been assigned to. 
  • Assembler 1 will be required to understand and adhere to the safety requirements for the facility and maintain the proper use of all required PPE for the line they are assigned to. 
  • Assembler 1 will be expected to work in a team environment and produce at the established rate to keep a continuous workflow on the line. 
  • Assembler 1 is required the know steps needed to accomplish their assigned operation and provide a brief verbal description of what that task is. 
  • Assembler 1 is required to follow verbal and written instructions and or accept feedback from the trainer or Group lead for the line they have been assigned to. 
  • Assembler 1 is required to report to their assigned line on time at the beginning of their shift and returning from break periods.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Ability to apply manual labeling Ability to perform self-inspection. 
  • Ability to follow written or verbal instructions. 
  • Accept feedback or coaching from the trainer or Group Lead on the line they are assigned to. 
  • Ability to maintain quality and quantity standards per workstation. 
  • Ability to do simple math operations. Color distinction. 
  • Good eye hand coordination. Performs housekeeping audits. 
  • Maintains workplace clean and organized (6S). Attention to detail. 
  • Other duties as required Physical demands Stand up most of the 8-hour shift, lifting to 30 pounds 
  • Some pulling and pushing.
