Job Description: Assistant General Manager

As the Assistant General Manager, you will assist in overseeing all aspects of the restaurant's operations, including managing staff, maintaining customer satisfaction, and maximizing profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the General Manager in the daily operations of the restaurant
  • Manage and train front-of-house and back-of-house staff
  • Ensure efficient service and high-quality food standards are maintained at all times
  • Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
  • Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and profitability
  • Create weekly schedules for staff to ensure proper coverage during operating hours
  • Handle customer complaints or concerns in a timely manner with professionalism
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the restaurant according to health codes
  • Collaborate with other departments within the hotel to ensure exceptional guest experiences
  • Conduct regular meetings with staff to communicate updates, address issues, and provide feedback

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in a supervisory role within the hospitality or food industry
  • Knowledge of Asian cuisine and culture preferred
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written 
  • Proven track record in achieving sales targets while maintaining high-quality standards 
  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
