Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Patient Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring a seamless and positive experience for patients from their initial contact through follow-up care. The Patient Coordinator will serve as the primary point of contact for patients, helping them navigate their healthcare journey with our facility.

Key Responsibilities:
Patient Registration:
  • Greet and welcome patients in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Assist patients with completing necessary registration forms and documents.
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of patient information in the system.
Appointment Scheduling:
  • Schedule and confirm patient appointments.
  • Manage appointment calendars to optimize efficiency and minimize wait times.
  • Coordinate any necessary pre-appointment instructions with patients.
Patient Education and Communication:
  • Provide patients with clear information about their treatments, procedures, and any preor post-care instructions.
  • Answer patient inquiries and address concerns promptly and accurately.
  • Facilitate communication between patients and clinical staff as needed.
Patient Support:
  • Assist patients with check-in and check-out processes.
  • Ensure patients understand their care plans and follow-up instructions.
  • Provide support and reassurance to patients and their families throughout their visit.
Administrative Duties:
  • Maintain and update patient records with accurate and timely information.
  • Handle patient paperwork and ensure it is properly filed and organized.
  • Prepare and distribute patient-related documentation as needed.
Quality Assurance:
  • Monitor patient satisfaction and gather feedback to improve service quality.
  • Identify and address any issues or areas for improvement in patient care processes.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in healthcare administration is a plus.
  • Previous experience in a healthcare or customer service role preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Compassionate and patient-focused attitude.
