If you are looking for a non-corporate office and consistency of providers for both you and your patients, you’ve found the right place. Both Dr. Lauren and Nathan Steim are from Port Angeles/Sequim and take pride in practicing in the same community in which they grew up in. Our patient base ranges from 6 months to over 100 years old providing an exciting clientele.
Job Summary:We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to join our team. As a key member of our clinical staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and support to our dentists and hygienists.
Key Responsibilities:
- Chair-Side Assistance: Provide support to our dentists and hygienists during patient exams, procedures, and treatments.
- Patient Preparation: Prepare patients for procedures, including reviewing medical histories, updating patient records, and taking x-rays and intra-oral images.
- Instrument Maintenance: Sterilize and maintain dental instruments, ensuring a clean and safe clinical environment.
- Inventory Management: Monitor and order dental supplies, ensuring that our practice is well-stocked and equipped to provide high-quality care.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with our clinical and administrative staff to ensure seamless patient care and a positive practice experience.
- Excellent Communication Skills: Possess excellent chair-side manners and the ability to connect with patients.
- Attention to Detail: Demonstrate attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in all aspects of patient care.
- Teamwork and Adaptability: Be able to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment and adapt to changing priorities and situations.
- Experience and Education: Possess a minimum of a few months of experience as a dental assistant and be certified as a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA).
