We are looking for an enthusiastic self-motivated team player to join our busy, progressive, multidoctor practice.

Qualifications: The ideal candidate has a minimum of one year's experience in small animal medicine. We encourage licensed and non-licensed technicians to apply for this full-time position.  

Oxford Animal Hospital is a brand new, modern practice that is paper-lite, utilizing Covetrus Pulse, and we offer many services to provide the best comprehensive care for our patients. This includes, preventative care, surgery, dentistry with digital radiographs, full body digital x-ray, therapeutic laser, in-house diagnostics, a reputable reference lab, handheld ultrasound as well as in-clinic ultrasound consultations by a board-certified radiologist when needed.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Our technician's primary responsibilities include complete case management, basic technical and surgical skills, client education and strong communication skills. 
  • Candidate must understand the importance of communication and have strong customer service skills to support the owner on the other side of the leash. 
  • Experience with venipuncture, placing IV catheters, surgical assistance, taking radiographs, running in-house labs, and being able to recognize when a patient is in distress are necessary.  

We are open Monday through Friday, 8am-5pm, so this means no weekend or after-hour shifts.
