Responsibilities
  • Communicating production status or relevant information to the customer
  • Producing various reports including:
    • Buyer Furnished Equipment (BFE) lists
    • Production status
    • Risk Reports
  • Tracking of BFE location & quality during its lifetime in facility
  • Investigation of the source of confirmed errors/issues
  • Proactive risk prevention by noticing errors that may impact scheduling/production and communicating that to the customer

 Responsibilities (in addition to the standard OSR)
  • Perform detailed quality inspections
    • Notice product issues/variances from the accepted standard or spec
    • Identify weaknesses to performance before issues occur
  • Create & submit detailed reports & documents including:
    • Production status
    • Risk reports
    • Product inspection reports
    • BFE parts receiving 
    • BOM
    • Commitment letter
    • Any information relevant to customer programs
  • Work collaboratively with all relevant parties (suppliers, sub-suppliers, customer team, facility managers, program leads, etc.) to mitigate risks and solve issues that have already matured.
