HVAC Service Coordinator Company Overview:Our client is the region’s leader in heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) products, systems, parts, and services for commercial buildings.  They are currently seeking a HVAC Service Coordinator to manage the day-to-day tasks and administrative functions for a growing commercial HVAC service department.  This role is an integral part of the service team and requires excellent customer service skills along with acute attention to detail.  This is a full-time, permanent position and will report to the Service Manager. What’s In It For You?

 What Makes You A Good Fit?
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 2+ years of related experience with a Service Company (preferred)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong organization, problem-solving, and customer service skills

Responsibilities:
  • Instruct and Monitor technicians in applying principles of cost/benefit to gain maximum utilization of company resources. 
  • Collaborate with the team to close all projects and maintenance tasks. 
  • With the Service Manager evaluate Gross Margins on all preventive maintenance contracts after each maintenance session review and identify areas of improvement. 
  • Prices jobs for customers (spot work).
  • Issues purchase orders for tools and inventory as necessary.
  • Order all necessary materials for scheduled maintenance and project work.
  • Oversees parts replacement inventory/warehouse/truck stock.
  • Write all Purchase Orders (Pos) needed within the service contract base, large projects assigned, and pull through work orders. 
  • Accept customer service calls and assign technicians to respond to service requests.
  • Track and monitor field technicians to determine availability to respond to service requests.
  • Notify the Service Manager when service contracts need to be renewed. 
  • Responsible for all service receivables on a weekly basis.
  • Responsible for all service work order invoices on a weekly basis.
  • Responsible for all service Pos and processing of Pos on a weekly basis. 
  • Attend regular status reporting/review meetings with staff and managers. Compile information combined with observations and make appropriate recommendations to the Service Manager. 
  • Promote a safety-centric work culture by following guidelines detailed in the safety manual and working directly with our safety consultant to provide check-ins on technicians.
 Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in business or accounting or related field
  • Experience with BuildOps or any other service-tracking software
  • Dispatching experience
  • Prior experience creating sales proposals, quotes, and reviewing contracts
  • Commercial HVAC industry experience
 Compensation & Location:This position is based out of Drums, PA. This is a full-time position that is available for immediate hire.
