AOE/COE Investigator

Responsibilities:
- Conduct investigations to determine if injuries or incidents arose out of and in the course of employment.
- Interview injured workers, witnesses, employers, and other relevant parties to gather information and statements.
- Review medical records, employment history, and incident reports to establish timelines and facts related to claims.
- Collect and analyze evidence, including photographs, videos, and documentation.
- Assess workplace conditions, safety protocols, and job duties to understand potential contributing factors to incidents.
- Prepare comprehensive investigative reports outlining findings and recommendations.
- Collaborate with legal teams, claims adjusters, and other stakeholders to support claims decisions.
- Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and industry practices related to workers' compensation investigations.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in investigative roles, preferably in workers' compensation or insurance investigations. Minimum 2 years experience in AOE investigations
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Reliable vehicle, license and registration
- Must be willing to travel up. (Includes paid travel time and mileage)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for conducting interviews and writing reports.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
- Proficiency in using investigative tools, databases, and technology.
- Knowledge of workers' compensation laws and regulations is a plus.
