Clinical Informaticist III

Education:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing required
- Advanced degree APRN or MS in nursing preferred
Licensure/Certification:
- Current VA RN License
- Certification in Clinical Informatics preferred with previous clinical informatics experience.
Experience:
- Prior experience with quality improvement processes required
- Prior experience with Health Information Technology required
- 5 years’ experience in a clinical setting (inpatient or ambulatory)
Competencies, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Leverages clinical information technology, process design, change management, and evidence to enable improvements in the patient care experience, quality, and financial and regulatory goals.
- Plans and presents customer training sessions.
- Makes oral and written presentations to project teams and other departments.
- Conducts continuing education sessions.
- Provides required analysis in support of required systems integration efforts.
