- Assemble units within the timeline set and to customer satisfaction, while using a variety of hand tools and equipment, following standardized sheets, drawings, samples and verbal instructions.
- Focus and pay close attention to details throughout all stages of work to meet quality objectives and to eliminate scrap (waste)
- Check your work, ensuring all aspects of the assembly are complete and correct.
- Provide team with sufficient information and support to accomplish team goals.
- Maintain an organized and clean workstation and help maintain the rest of the facility as well.
- Work cooperatively with team and work positively with others to provide any assistance to any area and/or department required.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
You’re a great fit for this position if this describes you;
- High school diploma OR equivalent including, additional relevant training, such as shop class, blueprint reading, welding or machine shop.
- Work well with your hands to build or repair objects comes easy to you and you find it natural to troubleshoot mechanical problems.
- Exceptional motor coordination and can easily use a variety of tools in a safe manner.
- Able to follow verbal and written instructions, directions and other communication in English.
- Experience with reading, comprehending and interpreting drawings and blue prints.
- Able to perform basic shop math (adding, subtracting, dividing, multiplying, measuring and converting decimals).
- Able to lift up to 50lbs and stand for up to 12 hours per day when necessary.
- Able to stoop, kneel, crouch and/or crawl.
- Able to perform in a fast-paced, team environment, while responding and adapting to change.
- You bring with you a positive attitude and the ability to work cohesively in a team environment.
- Understanding that you are part of a growing company, you have no concerns with and able to work extended hours/over-time as needed as well as some Saturdays to support that growth.
