Drug Screening Collector

We are looking for a part-time Drug Screening Collector to support our client site in Boise, ID. This position is responsible for collecting samples for testing drug and alcohol to support medical and safety efforts at large scale construction site located in Boise, ID. This project is anticipated to last multiple years with exact timing to be determined by client requirements. 
Schedule: Monday - Friday 6:00am - 10:00am

Responsibilities: 
  • Oral fluid, urine drug and breath alcohol collection
  • Trained to DOT standards for dug and alcohol testing
  • Follows site procedures and guidelines for collections
  • Follows confidentiality and HIPAA laws, regulations, and guidelines

Education and Experience: 
  • High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED) OR 
  • 1-3 years' related experience and/or training OR 
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience 
  • CNA preferred

Skills and Competencies: 
  • Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Must be able to demonstrate the ability of maintaining privacy and confidentiality. 
  • Strong critical thinking skills; problem solving, and decision making. 
  • Must have the ability to gather data, compile information and prepare reports. 
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, with attention to detail and accuracy. 
  • Ability to create and edit written materials. 
  • Ability to communicate effectively to a variety of audiences. 
  • Skill in organizing resources and establishing priorities. 
  • Demonstrate cooperative behavior with colleagues, supervisors, and clients.
  • Strong time management, organizational, and follow-through skills.
  • Ability to meet and exceed daily and weekly individual performance goals.
  • Ability to work independently as well as assisting other team members when needed.
  • Requires regular and predictable attendance and punctuality. 
  • Ability to make independent decisions in accordance to company policy and procedures and strong professional and clinical judgment; and take initiative on issues that arise daily. 
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and on a team basis; extremely organized; able to manage multiple priorities.

Computer Skills: 
  • Must be competent in the Windows operating system environment, Adobe Professional, Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, &Teams) and learn other software (example: SAP, Cority, etc.) as needed.

Physical Demands: 
  • Requires sitting for long periods of time, working at a desk. 
  • Some bending and stretching could be required. 
  • Working under stress and use of computer/phone required. 
  • Manual dexterity required for use of computer keyboard. 
  • Occasionally may be required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel and/or crouch. 
  • Ability to lift/move up to 100 pounds and climb stairs. 
  • Ability to kneel for extended periods of time while rendering emergency care and/or CPR.

Work Environment: 
  • Construction project location. 
  • Clinic is located within the protected/regulated area. 
  • Clinic: Mainly indoor, office/clinic conditions; noise level is usually moderate; air quality is good, and temperature is controlled.
