We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team. As a Diesel Mechanic, you will be responsible for inspecting, maintaining, and repairing diesel engines and vehicles. This is a great opportunity for someone with mechanical knowledge and experience in fleet repair to work with diesel engines and advance their career in the field.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance on diesel engines, including oil changes, filter replacements, and fluid checks.
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical issues with diesel engines, such as faulty fuel systems or engine components.
  • Use schematics and diagnostic equipment to identify and troubleshoot problems.
  • Conduct inspections of diesel vehicles to ensure they meet safety standards.
  • Perform tire service, including rotations, replacements, and repairs.
  • Utilize power tools and specialized equipment to complete repairs efficiently.
  • Keep accurate records of all maintenance and repairs performed.

Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic or similar role.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of diesel engine systems.
  • Proficient in using schematics and diagnostic equipment.
  • Ability to effectively use power tools for repairs.
  • Familiarity with engines is a plus.
  • Experience in tire service is preferred.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $28.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
