Job Overview

Prestige Fleet Services is a leading provider of mobile maintenance and repair services for commercial fleets. We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team of experienced technicians.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on Class 6-8 trucks and trailers, including brakes, diagnostics, A/C systems, electrical systems, engine components, exhaust systems, after-treatment systems, lift-gates, and tires.
  • Schedule and oversee all maintenance procedures, including preventive maintenance and DOT inspections.
  • Repair and replace vehicle and trailer components as needed.
  • Manage inventory on the service truck and obtain parts from local vendors.
  • Accurately complete DOT forms and other documentation in a timely manner.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in diesel repair and maintenance.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work extended and/or irregular hours, including weekends and holidays.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Self-motivated with excellent planning and time management skills.
  • Ability to utilize a computer or tablet for electronic processing of work orders.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 2 years of experience in performing annual federal inspections and brake inspections.
  • Knowledge of fleet maintenance software and systems.
Compensation

$27-$35 per hour, depending on experience.
