Job Overview:
Fitness 19 is looking for dynamic and enthusiastic Group Fitness Instructors to lead our high-energy classes, including GRIT, SPRINT, BODYPUMP, BODYBALANCE, and BODYCOMBAT. We are seeking passionate individuals who are dedicated to helping members reach their fitness goals through challenging, fun, and engaging group workouts. You will be an integral part of our team, inspiring members to push their limits while providing guidance and support in a positive, motivating atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and instruct group fitness classes in GRIT, SPRINT, BODYPUMP, BODYBALANCE, and/or BODYCOMBAT according to Fitness 19’s high standards.
- Create a welcoming and inclusive environment for members of all fitness levels, ensuring everyone feels supported and encouraged.
- Provide clear instructions, demonstrations, and modifications to accommodate varying skill levels.
- Ensure the safety of all participants by monitoring proper form and technique.
- Keep classes engaging and fun to inspire members to stay consistent with their fitness routine.
- Build strong connections with members, offering personalized guidance and feedback.
- Maintain professionalism at all times, arriving on time and prepared for each class.
- Stay up to date with fitness trends and training techniques to continuously improve class offerings.
- Assist in promoting group fitness programs within the club to increase member participation.
Qualifications:
- Certified group fitness instructor with a specialty certification in one or more of the following programs: GRIT, SPRINT, BODYPUMP, BODYBALANCE, BODYCOMBAT.
- Current CPR/AED certification (or willingness to obtain prior to start date).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire others.
- Energetic, positive attitude with a passion for fitness and helping others achieve their health goals.
- Ability to adapt classes for participants of different fitness levels.
- Previous experience leading group fitness classes is preferred but not required.
