Responsibilities and Duties:
  •  LVN's contribute provide hospice continuous care according to the plan of care and prescribed doctor's orders.
  •  Provides direct skilled bedside nursing care.
  •  Evaluate patient /family needs in the preparation and execution of the interdisciplinary plan of care for each patient on the team and the effectiveness of treatments and monitor the patient's reactions.
  •  Performs selected acts in the care of the terminally ill under the direct supervision of a registered nurse; such acts include the administration of treatments and medications.
Qualifications:
  • Licensed as a Vocational Nurse in the State of California.
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
  • Valid driver's license, auto insurance, reliable transportation, and willingness to drive to patient locations.
