JOB SUMMARY:
Provides networking and sales support services for sales efforts to generate leads and a positive community image.

HIGH PAY-OFF ACTIVITIES:
  • Presents “Regency” to professionals and other “influencers”.
  • Develops networking plans, goals, and objectives.
  • Reports on the effectiveness of contacts and lead generation.
  • Interfaces efforts with sales and marketing personnel.
  • Develops and maintains networking database.
  • Interacts with prospects and families.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND FUNCTIONS:
  • Approaches all encounters with residents and employees in a friendly, service-oriented manner.
  • Maintains high standards of personal appearance and grooming which includes wearing the proper name tag when working.
  • Complies at all times with Regency standards and regulations to encourage safe and efficient property operations.
  • Visits local community professionals and other influencers at their place of business, appointments, and cold calls to inform them about the local Regency Retirement Community.
  • Describes the features and benefits of the Regency Community.
  • Develops networking plans in concert with Executive Director and Community Consultant identifying professionals/other influencers.
  • Maintains database of influencer contacts with follow-up section and history.
  • Acts as spokesperson for Regency’s Principles, Values and Beliefs in the local community.
  • Provides timely reporting to Executive Director on community relations and sales activities as requested.
  • Assists in enhancing the community image by attending various industry and local community and senior organization networking meeting. Makes presentations as appropriate.
  • Assists with, planning and executing marketing events being held in and out of the community.
  • Attends department head meetings and performs task as assigned by the Executive Director and Regional Director of Sales/Marketing.
  • Cross training to assist the marketing department as needed with tours, telephone inquiries and other needs to assure community completes performance requirements and meets all sales goals.
  • Designs and implements two marketing events per quarter targeting referral sources.
  • Performs other duties and tasks as assigned or required.

EXPERIENCE/TRAINING/EDUCATION:
  • Experience in marketing senior living and knowledge of Morristown and the surrounding areas a must.
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:
  • Ability to effectively communicate with potential customers, influencers, professionals, residents, families, and the general public.
  • Ability to make presentations to a variety of referral sources.
  • Ability to provide networking and sales support in a senior housing environment while meeting or exceeding Regency’s Principles, Values, and Beliefs.
  • Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Familiar with various computer programs, internet, and lead tracking software.
  • Familiar with general office equipment.
  • Ability to deal effectively and calmly with difficult people.
  • Must be able to work in a stressful environment with multiple priorities.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Ability to lift and move up to 30 pounds.
  • Range of motion necessary to work in an office environment.
  • Must be able to climb stairs and negotiate a variety of retirement community and office building layouts.
  • Must be able to stand and/or walk for long periods of time.
