Maintenance Director/Facilities Director

Do you want to join a vibrant and caring team who are committed to providing quality care and services to the residents of the Clarksville community?  We are currently looking for a maintenance director for Jubilee House on Warfield that can coordinate resident maintenance services to include the community grounds.  Looking for a candidate that has attention to detail, compassion and patience with older citizens and is knowledgeable of building maintenance and repairs. 

Some of the primary responsibilities will include:
  • Provide a safe and attractive environment for community residents.
  • Carry out a preventative maintenance program.
  • Respond promptly to any repair requests.
  • Assist with resident move in and move out.
  • prepare resident apartments for move in.
  • Understanding of basic repairs .
  • Have knowledge of fire protection systems, alarm systems, resident security systems, elevator units and general maintenance equipment such as carpet cleaning machines, hand tools etc and be able to test and maintain logs for required state codes and regulations.
  • Have knowledge of HVAC, plumbing systems and be able to troubleshoot for repairs.
  • Order supplies for required department needs and be able to understand and maintain a monthly budget.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA standards and be able to effectively educate community team members on required information.
  • Be on call for the community in the event of emergencies. 
  • Able to effectively educate basic procedures for turning off and on utility services at the community. 
  • Exhibit good customer service skills with vendors and maintain positive working relationships with them.
Physical job requirements will include:
  • Stand/walk up to 8 hours a day.
  • Sit for up to 2 hours per day.
  • Frequently support up to 70 lbs.
  • Frequently lift/carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Frequently kneel, bend, and reach.
