Then our Inventory Coordinator position is for you Sysco is looking to hire for this vital role to maintain accurate inventory, which is essential for our success. By conducting regular cycle counts, adjusting, and managing inventory control, you will help ensure quality and efficiency while prioritizing safety and productivity. 

Shift Schedule: Sunday night to Thursday night, 10:00 PM to 6:30 AM.

  • Conduct quarterly inventory checks to verify records, check product condition, and ensure correct locations.
  • Update the Warehouse Management System (WMS) to maintain reliable inventory data for planning.
  • Report potential inventory issues, such as near expiration or storage problems, to prompt quick resolutions.
  • Address misplacements during counts and document them for follow-up, promoting accountability and improvement within the team.
  • Research the Lost Pallet Report and identify the reason and validity of loss through a physical search of the warehouse.  Determine required inventory adjustment and input data into WMS to provide accurate information for planning and evaluation activities.  
  • Complete a thorough review of product activity in WMS, RDC SUS, the opco incident database, and the regional adjustments database to ensure accuracy of the net position.
  • Pull, process, load and complete outbound returns, donations, recalls, salvages and any other outbound product shipments as required.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) preferred, or one year of warehouse-related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
