Job OverviewResponsible for coordinating the functions required for sales and marketing activities that will contribute not only to achieving desired sales targets but also to delivering high standards of customer service. The role involves assisting the Arizona Sales Manager with related activities, managing and maintaining the SAP SD Module – UNA, building reports, and assisting with accounts receivable and customer service.

Responsibilities:
  • Track and coordinate information needed to balance all cement shipments in the shipping report with the daily production report provided by the cement plant.
  • Become familiar with and monitor all transportation invoices and provide them to the correct departments.
  • Track and coordinate information needed for the accounting staff to reconcile month-end procedures.
  • Assist the sales department in providing marketing materials, quotes for cement sales, and setting up customers and/or contracts within the company's order management system.
  • Assist the Arizona Sales Manager, finance, and accounting staff with reports, forecasts, and budgets, along with any administrative support as needed.
  • Serve as an internal liaison between Unacem corporate, Drake Cement Plant, and Tehachapi Cement Plant to ensure efficient business operations.
  • Serve as a contact between Unacem, Drake, and Tehachapi staff and external customers to resolve outstanding issues and ensure optimal customer service.
  • Perform any other duties required by management to ensure the successful fulfillment of position requirements.
  • Key User SAP SD Module – UNA.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
  • 1-3 years of prior related work experience.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret business correspondence, legal documents, leases, and some financial reports. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and marketing materials. Ability to effectively present information to and respond to questions from groups of supervisors, customers, and the general public.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook, and MS Internet Explorer, along with the ability to independently generate and edit spreadsheets, word processing documents, and PowerPoint slides. Accurate typing skills with a minimum of 30 words per minute. Familiarity with SAP is required.
  • Ability to apply moderately complex mathematical equations and calculations, including the calculation and conversion of weights and volumes and conversions from standard to metric units.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret a variety of technical instructions and deal with both abstract and concrete variables.
