  • Develop, maintain, and update electrical drawings using Autodesk Inventor & AutoCAD Electrical.
  • Serve as expert on electrical design and components, advocating for new technology to enhance product offerings.
  • Prioritize and address design-related manufacturing and customer service issues.
  • Audit electrical harnesses, cord sets, and components to suggest improvements in quality, safety, compliance, and reliability.
  • Design and build testing apparatuses for electrical lifecycle and production validation testing.
  • Assist with electrical troubleshooting and end-of-line testing on the production floor.
  • Help secure regulatory approvals for new and existing products.
  • Collaborate with Quality Control to identify and resolve component defects, enhancing quality and reducing waste.
  • Investigate and address root causes of product or process nonconformities.
  • Consult with management to assess customer requirements and select validation objectives.
  • Conduct and analyze engineering validation tests, reviewing data interdepartmentally to ensure criteria and specifications are met.
  • Modify testing methods to resolve issues and improve processes.
  • Create and manage engineering documentation, including reports, drawings, flow charts, schedules, and schematics.

Highlighted Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering preferred or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of experience in Engineering
  • Must have AutoCAD 2D design experience
  • Familiarity with regulatory agency requirements preferred
  • Ability to communicate well at all levels of the organization
  • Ability to work well in a team environment
