Medical Receptionist /Must be Bilingual

We are looking for a bright and friendly individual who is a strong team player with the ability to interact with the public and leave a lasting positive impression. Must be detail oriented and very organized for our high volume fast-paced medical clinic.

Job Details:
  • Job Type: Full-time
  • Salary: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
  • Work Location: Multiple locations/Salinas and Monterey Rotation Required

Duties:
  • Check-in patients and verify all demographics
  • Check eligibility and benefits verification for treatments and procedures.
  • Opening Clinic for employees and completing opening procedures for the day.
  • Requires high detail ability when processing all patient information
  • Answering multiline telephone/transfer calls
  • Make appointments and Take Co-Payments
  • Following up on unpaid patient bills.
  • Setting up patient payment plans and work collection accounts.
  • Updating cash spreadsheets, and running collection reports.
  • Must be punctual and have no attendance issues.
  • Fast learner and a team player

The basic requirements most often listed include:
  • A high school diploma
  • Health Care Administration preferred.
  • A minimum of one year of experience in a medical office setting
