Tableau Developer

- Develop interactive and visually appealing dashboards using Tableau.
- Design and implement charts, graphs, maps, and other visualization elements to effectively communicate data insights.
- Connect Tableau to various data sources, including databases, spreadsheets, and cloud-based repositories.
- Work with data engineers to ensure seamless integration of data into Tableau.
- Clean, transform, and preprocess raw data to make it suitable for analysis and visualization within Tableau.
- Design, develop, and maintain Tableau dashboards that meet business requirements.
- Implement user interactivity and dynamic features to enhance user experience.
- Create calculated fields and custom formulas to perform advanced data manipulations and calculations.
- Optimize Tableau dashboards and reports for performance, especially when dealing with large datasets.
- Provide training sessions to end-users on how to interact with and interpret Tableau dashboards.
- Offer ongoing support and troubleshooting assistance to Tableau users.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders, to understand data requirements and deliver effective solutions.
- Implement and adhere to data security measures within Tableau to safeguard sensitive information.
- Develop and implement automated processes for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) tasks within Tableau.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Computer Science, Information Systems, etc.).
- Proven experience as a Tableau Developer or in a similar role.
- Proficiency in Tableau Desktop and Tableau Server.
- Strong understanding of data visualization principles.
- Knowledge of SQL, data modeling, and database systems.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with other business intelligence tools.
- Familiarity with data warehousing concepts.
- Certification in Tableau.
