Collision Estimator

We seek a Collision Estimator to join our team and play a key role in our daily operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in collision repair estimation combined with excellent administrative skills. This role requires the ability to accurately assess vehicle damage, provide detailed repair estimates, and effectively communicate with customers and insurance companies. Additionally, the Collision Estimator will handle various administrative tasks to ensure smooth workflow and exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough inspections of damaged vehicles and prepare accurate repair estimates.
• Communicate with customers to explain repair processes, estimate costs, and answer any questions or concerns.
• Liaise with insurance companies to negotiate repair estimates and ensure timely claims processing.
• Schedule appointments, manage appointments, and coordinate vehicle drop-off and pick-up.
• Maintain organized records of customer information, repair estimates, invoices, and insurance documentation.
• Assist with general office duties including answering phone calls, responding to emails, and managing office supplies.
• Collaborate with the repair team to prioritize workload and ensure timely completion of repairs.
• Uphold company standards for quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a collision estimator or in a similar role in the automotive industry.
• Strong understanding of collision repair techniques, parts, and labor costs.
• Proficiency in using computerized estimating systems (e.g., CCC ONE, Audatex, Mitchell).
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to accurately assess vehicle damage and prepare comprehensive repair estimates.
• Solid organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Familiarity with office equipment and procedures.
