Our census is increasing and we are currently searching for a compassionate and empathetic Weekend On-Call LVN for our Greenville service area. Your primary focus will be to support individuals and families who are facing the challenges that arise from a diagnosis that is terminal and at the end of life. Responsibilities:
  • The weekend schedule begins at 5pm on Friday and ends at 8:30am Monday morning.
  • Assist the RN in carrying out the plan of care and prn visits. 
  • Under the direction of the RN triage, supplements the nursing care needs of the patient as provided by the RN and as specified in the POC. 
  • Assist the patient in learning appropriate self-care techniques
  • Complete appropriate clinical and progress notes, documenting outcomes of interventions
  • Assess patient/family response to care, ensuring communication of information to appropriate team members
Qualifications:
  • Current State Licensed Vocational Nurse 
  • Current State Driver’s License, reliable transportation, and provide ongoing valid and current auto liability insurance
  • Graduate of an accredited school of vocational nursing
  • Minimum of one year of hospice experience as a Licensed Vocational Nurse 
  • Valid BLS.
  • Successful completion of Background screening including employment verification.
