Are you a culinary maestro ready to lead a dynamic kitchen team and create unforgettable dining experiences? We are looking for an Executive Chef who is a passionate leader and who can bring their culinary expertise to a new level.
The Role:As the Executive Chef, you will oversee all aspects of kitchen operations, including menu planning, food preparation, inventory management, and staff training. You will also work closely with front-of-house teams to ensure a seamless dining experience for our guests.
Your creativity and innovation will shine as you develop new dishes and incorporate seasonal ingredients into our menus. You will also have the opportunity to showcase your skills at special events such as private dinners or catering services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Innovative Menu Design: Develop and craft menus that reflect our culinary vision and standards.
- Kitchen Operations Management: Oversee all kitchen activities, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation, to ensure consistent quality.
- Leadership and Mentorship: Guide and mentor kitchen staff, fostering a positive and high-performing work environment.
- Cost Management: Monitor food and labor costs to meet budgetary goals and maintain profitability.
- Compliance: Ensure the kitchen and dining areas comply with all health and safety regulations.
- Event Collaboration: Work with the management team to plan and execute special events and promotions.
- Inventory Management: Maintain inventory levels and oversee ordering to meet daily operational needs.
- Culinary Trends: Stay updated on culinary trends and incorporate new techniques and ingredients into our offerings.
- Proven experience in a scratch kitchen setting.
- Expertise in nose-to-tail menu planning and execution.
- Proficiency in whole-body butchery.
- Experience with lodging components, including room service.
- Banquet experience.
- Previous experience with new restaurant openings is a must.
- Competitive salary up to $100,000, depending upon experience and performance-based bonuses.
