Senior Windows Server Engineer: Focus on Authentication (AD)

Job Description:

In this position, you will be responsible for planning, designing, provisioning, maintaining, and upgrading Authentication platforms such as Active Directory, Azure AD, and PAM and PIM related platforms across the enterprise. You'll manage the entire lifecycle of these platforms, including design, implementation, installation, updates, and configuration. If you enjoy mentoring, you will also have the opportunity to guide other members of the Windows Server team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain documentation and procedures for Windows Server engineering and administration.
  • Design and evaluate Authentication solutions to enhance complex systems and related infrastructure across the organization. Make recommendations to management and implement enhancement solutions.
  • Collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders and management to design and implement complex Authentication projects that meet business needs across the organization.
  • Perform baselines of systems conformance and load to understand normal authentication workloads, enabling self-identification of issues or anomalies. Uphold values of Integrity, Caring, and Excellence in all actions to achieve optimal outcomes.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in Active Directory administration and/or engineering.
  • Demonstrated experience in high-level authentication engineering across related platforms.
  • Proven ability to accurately depict technical environments.
  • Experience working in a virtualized environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft computer applications.
Preferred Skills:
  • Expertise and experience in advanced scripting with PowerShell, Ansible, and/or Chef.
  • Expertise and experience in at least two of the following: Microsoft Windows OS, Active Directory, Azure AD, PKI, Privileged Access Management.
