Job description: Service advisorWe are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced service advisor who is passionate about providing exceptional customer service and values the importance of people’s time. As a service advisor, you will be the primary point of contact for our valued customers, ensuring their needs are met efficiently and effectively. Your ability to build strong relationships, understand customer concerns, and provide accurate and timely information will be crucial to the success of our service department. 

Requirements:

  • A proven track record of exceptional customer service and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical information to customers in a clear and understandable manner.
  • Excellent time management and organizational abilities, ensuring efficient service workflow and meeting customer expectations.
  • Proficient in using computer systems and software for scheduling, invoicing, and customer management.
  • Knowledge of automotive systems, repairs, and maintenance to accurately assess customer needs and provide appropriate recommendations.
  • Ability to work in fast-paced environment and prioritize effectively.

Responsibilities:
  • Greet customers warmly and establish a positive rapport, making them feel valued and comfortable throughout their service experience.
  • Listen attentively to customer concerns, asking relevant questions to fully understand their vehicle concerns and service requirements.
  • Provide accurate and detailed information about recommended services, including cost estimates and timeframes, ensuring transparency and clarity. 
  • Schedule appointments and manage the service workflow to ensure timely completion of repairs and maintenance.
  • Collaborate with technicians to communicate customer concerns and ensure accurate diagnosis and resolution of issues.
  • Keep customers informed about the progress of their service, providing updates and addressing any additional questions or concerns.
  • Make the customer aware of all additional needed services or maintenance based on vehicle needs and requirements.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer information, customer interactions, service history, and vehicle information in our data base.
  • Handle customer concerns or complaints with professionalism and empathy, striving for swift resolution and customer satisfaction.
