Nature of the Work: This position pre- washes and prepares vehicles for a complete detail, recon work, spray on bedliners and/or rustproofing.  Essential Job Duties: 
  • Pre clean and de tar the exterior of all vehicles.
  • Clean the engine compartment of all vehicles.
  • Clay bar the vehicle as needed.
  • Inspect vehicles for damage that may need replaced or restored and notify the Manager.
  • Cooperate with and assist all personnel in the detailing, repair and prepping of vehicles as needed.
  • Maintain clean and safe work area.
  • Ensure safe movement of vehicles in, out and through the shop.
  • Assist in staging vehicles throughout the shop.
  • Transport vehicles as needed.
  • Stock technicians supplies in all areas.
  • Complete the monthly maintenance items as noted for your location.
  • Empty trash and break down & remove all boxes.
  • Attend any training deemed important to your position or that is requested by any Pro-Touch training representative, including industry certifications (ex. CCC, Reflux etc.)

Duties May Also Include: 
  • Buff and/or clean surfaces of vehicles.
  • Polish final coat of paint.
  • Apply rustproofing.
  • Perform any other duties as requested and needed by all team members for the purpose of ensuring an efficient and effective completion of tasks.

Job Requirements:        
  • Willing to submit to and ability to pass pre- employment and random drug screenings.
  • Maintain a current driver license with good standing.
  • Dependable and punctual with an excellent work ethic.
  • Ability to stand/bend for extended periods of time and to walk, bend, push/pull, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach or crawl frequently
  • Project a professional and courteous attitude.
  • Effectively communicate with and respond to feedback and questions from all other Pro-Touch team members.
  • Good judge of the qualities of things, services, and people.
  • Supply own tools as needed for position.
  • Creative thinking and ability to problem solve.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Ability to lift to 50 pounds.
  • Team oriented with the attitude to train and teach others.
  • Operate all tools and equipment in a safe manner and wear all safety and health personal protective equipment as mandated.
