Posting Title: Shelter SupervisorStatus: FTEFLSA: Non-exempt Brighton Center, Inc. is a private non-profit community-based organization with the mission to create opportunities for individuals and families to reach self-sufficiency through family support services, education, employment, and leadership.  

Purpose:Provide oversight of shelter operations and staff supervision to ensure the safety and welfare of youth served at shelter.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Support, train, and supervise direct care to Residential Assistants
  • Coordinate staffing schedules and required personnel documentation for licensure
  • Assist with 24/7 shelter programming and daily activities of youth served
  • Participate in Treatment Team meetings to support appropriate and effective service provision
  • Work with Program Coordinator to ensure compliance to licensing and accreditation requirements
 Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree (preferred) or equivalent work history
  • Work experience with adolescents preferred
  • Residential experience is a plus
  • Supervisory experience preferred
  • Clean background check, valid Driver's License with clean driving record and reliable transportation
  • Flexible schedule: Occasional evening/weekend hours are required, including On-Call responsibilities
