Role and Responsibilities:
  • As a Warehouse Assistant, you will help manage incoming shipments and keep our warehouse running smoothly. You’ll work with delivery drivers, handle materials, and ensure everything is organized and safe.
  • Check and unload incoming shipments carefully.
  • Move materials to the correct area in the warehouse.
  • Be friendly and helpful with delivery drivers and handle shipments professionally.
  • Use banding and stretch wrap machines safely.
  • Tell your supervisor about any safety issues you see.
  • Know and follow all safety rules and equipment guidelines.
  • Use our box truck to pick up and deliver materials locally.
  • Complete a health check and drug test to get a medical card for driving.
  • Work with the Assistant Supervisor to ensure orders are correct and the warehouse is well-maintained.
  • Help with other tasks as needed.

Qualifications:
  • Provide good service to drivers and handle materials with care.
  • Follow safety rules and use equipment properly.
  • Share information clearly with your team.

Physical and Environmental Demands:
  • Standing, walking and lifting heavy objects.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
  • The Shipping and Receiving Handler may have to lift up to 50lbs and push and or pull up to 70 lbs.
  • Loud Noises
  • Exposed to the outdoors frequently, regardless of the weather
