Job Summary

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service while ensuring the safe and timely transportation of packages. This role requires a high level of attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate company vehicles in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
  • Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Sort and load packages onto vehicles, ensuring accurate and efficient delivery.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles, reporting any issues or concerns to management.
  • Meet or exceed productivity and efficiency standards, ensuring timely delivery of packages.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and maneuver packages of any weight with assistance.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience in a delivery or transportation role.
  • Knowledge of FedEx features of service and related customer service functions.
Work Environment

This role requires working in a warehouse or delivery environment, with frequent exposure to weather conditions. You will be required to wear a FedEx uniform and follow all company policies and procedures.
