We are seeking a dedicated Forklift Operator to safely operate various forklifts for loading, unloading, transporting, and stacking pallets and materials throughout the warehouse. Responsibilities include maintaining accurate inventory records, adhering to safety protocols, and assisting with other warehouse tasks. Strong communication skills and light data entry abilities are essential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate forklifts (e.g., sit-down riders, reach trucks) to maneuver, lift, and place pallets and materials.
  • Load, unload, and transport pallets and materials to designated storage locations.
  • Follow stacking procedures to optimize warehouse space and ensure safe storage.
  • Conduct pre-shift inspections and report maintenance needs.
  • Maintain accurate inventory movement records using warehouse management systems.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and company procedures.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Assist with other tasks, such as packing or unpacking boxes.
  • Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of the forklift.
  • Coordinate with team members to ensure efficient workflow.
  • Assist in inventory counts and audits.
  • Participate in training programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
  • Communicate effectively regarding operational issues or safety concerns.
  • Comply with company policies, including attendance and punctuality.
  • Support peak operational periods with additional hours as needed.
  • Participate in safety drills and emergency response activities.

Qualifications:
  • Valid forklift operator certification.
  • Minimum 1 year of forklift experience in a warehouse.
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination, depth perception, and spatial awareness.
  • Strong understanding of safety regulations.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Physical ability to perform duties, including lifting and operating controls.
  • High School Diploma required.
  • Ability to learn scanning operations for inventory management.
  • Light data entry skills.
  • Professional communication skills for interacting with customers via email.

Benefits and Compensation
  • $17.00 per hour.
  • Comprehensive health, dental, vision, and ancillary insurance benefits (after 90 days).
  • Paid Time Off (PTO) and holidays.

  • Full-time.
