Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert advice and specialized skills for cyber security projects.
  • Prepare and deliver analysis and presentations to stakeholders.
  • Ensure proper use of engineering, configuring, programming, testing, and documentation techniques.
  • Produce and review detailed documentation and reports.
  • Lead special projects and research new technologies.
  • Serve as a point of contact for engineering efforts, maintaining solution integrity and compliance.
  • Work as a recognized authority on complex technical problems, providing innovative solutions.
  • Conduct security planning, assessment, risk analysis, and risk management.
  • Validate and verify system security requirements and establish system security designs.
  • Design, develop, implement, and integrate IA and security systems and components.
Skills/Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Management Sciences, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field with 12-15 years of experience, or Master’s degree with 10-12 years of experience, or PhD with 8-9 years of experience.
  • 10+ years of related experience in the engineering/cyber discipline.
  • Relevant certifications (one or more required):
    • CompTIA Net+
    • CompTIA A+
    • CompTIA Security+
    • GIAC Security Essentials Certification (GSEC)
    • ISC2 Systems Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP)
    • Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) Security
    • Certified Penetration Testing Engineer (CPTE)
    • Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)
    • Microsoft Certified Solution Expert (MCSE)
    • Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP)
  • Extensive technical expertise and ability to develop solutions to complex problems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to produce and review detailed documentation and reports.
  • Ability to obtain a Position of Public Trust Clearance.
