We are looking for a highly motivated System Administrator with extensive experience managing large-scale environments encompassing 300+ VMs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in certificate management, troubleshooting complex issues, and proficiency in Active Directory management. Additionally, experience with IIS administration and exposure to Linux systems will be crucial for maintaining our diverse IT infrastructure.  You will partner with internal resources, serving as a technical resource for the organization, and providing guidance and assistance to internal staff with technical issues. Key duties and responsibilities for this position are listed below:
  • Manage and maintain a large-scale environment consisting of 300+ virtual machines (VMs), ensuring high availability and performance.
  • Oversee Certificate Management processes to secure and manage digital certificates across the network.
  • Proactively troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to systems, applications, and network connectivity.
  • Administer Active Directory services, including user/group management, group policies, and domain configurations.
  • Monitor and optimize IIS (Internet Information Services) for Windows Server environments.
  • Provide support and expertise in Windows and Linux systems administration tasks.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and support new technologies and system enhancements.
  • Implement and enforce security best practices and policies to safeguard systems and data integrity.
  • Drive DevOps transformation to assist in a more reliable product delivery and increased scaling.

Qualifications and requirements to be successful in this role include the following:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; or equivalent work experience.
  • Proven experience as a System Administrator in a large-scale environment with 300+ VMs.
  • Strong knowledge of Certificate Management practices and tools.
  • Expertise in troubleshooting technical issues across systems, applications, and networks.
  • Proficiency in Active Directory management, including user/group management and domain configurations.
  • Hands-on experience in administering and optimizing IIS in Windows Server environments.
  • Familiarity with Linux systems and basic administration tasks.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills; ability to handle multiple priorities and understand and be responsive to customer needs while working independently and under tight deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal; Outstanding interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with people with varying degrees of technical experience and collaborate effectively with technical teams and stakeholders.
  • Proactive mindset with a strong commitment to continuous improvement and learning.
  • Excellent work and attendance history.

Preferred Skills:
  • Certifications such as MCSA, MCSE, RHCSA, RHCE, or equivalent.
  • Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., Citrix, Proxmox).
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).
  • Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Bash).
  • Understanding of ITIL framework and practices.
