Leasing Consultant

The Leasing Consultant will work directly with the Leasing Team, Assistant Manager, Property Manager and serve as the primary contact for residents and prospective residents looking to renew or engage in a new lease. The Leasing Consultant’s primary responsibilities include all elements related to leasing, including but not limited to communication with residents and prospective residents, handling walk-in traffic, touring, generating lease documents, and signing and closing leases. In addition, the Leasing Consultant will assist in coordinating resident activities, leasing activities, assisting with move-in, and maintaining excellent resident relations through superior customer service. The Leasing Consultant is also responsible for complying with all state, federal, and/or local laws relating to Fair Housing.
Job Type: Full Time.
At least 1 year of experience in the apartment, leasing, or hospitality industry is preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain positive resident relations through superior service.
- Process leases, complete lease files, and ensure all corresponding paperwork is accurate.
- Phone and in-person sales to prospective residents and renewals.
- Participate in resident retention events and activities.
- “Shop” competitor’s properties.
- Assist with online Social Media representation, presence, and marketing outreach.
- At least 1 year of experience in the apartment, leasing, or hospitality industry is preferred.
- Outgoing, gregarious personality & enthusiasm for marketing, leasing, and sales.
- Active knowledge of online social media and social presence avenues.
- Strong organizational and administrative abilities.
- Must have excellent communication and people skills.
- A passion to serve residents, parents, vendors, and colleagues.
- Weekend availability is a must.
Work Schedule:
Tuesday - Friday 9:30am - 6:30pm
Saturday 10:00am - 4:00pm
