Serving clients in Oregon and Washington, Mindful Mental and Behavioral Health PLLC (MMBH) is looking for part-time and full-time fully licensed therapists (LCSWs, LPCs, or LMFTs) or associate therapists (CSWAs) to join our practice. Requirements include holding an active license in the state of Oregon and completing a minimum of 20 client hours per week.

Therapists must be independent, driven, collaborative, and enhance our fun, connected, and positive minded group of clinicians. Therapist will be employee status and can choose our remote or hybrid option.

We Provide:
  • Steady Stream of Referrals: Client referrals to help build and maintain your caseload.
  • Flexible Scheduling: Choose to work 4 or 5 days per week, with no requirement for weekend or evening availability.
  • Competitive Compensation:
    • Associates: Flat rate of $64 per clinical hour for therapy follow-up sessions, which includes documentation time. Flat rate of $80 for therapy intake sessions, which includes documentation time.
    • Fully Licensed Therapists: Flat rate of $72 per clinical hour for therapy follow-up sessions, which includes documentation time. Flat rate of $90 for therapy intake sessions, which includes documentation time.
    • Compensation for no shows at the clinical rate. 
    • Administrative rate of $20 per hour for required trainings and meetings.
  • Paid Time Off (PTO): Accrued at 1.35 hours for every 22 client hours worked (equivalent to 3 weeks per year).
  • Retirement Benefits: 401(k) plan with up to a 4% company match after six months of employment.

Therapist Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Conducting initial consultations to gather client information.
  • Assessing clients’ emotional and mental health needs, diagnosing and creating treatment plans to meet goals.
  • Asking questions and listening to help clients explore their thoughts and feelings.
  • Counseling clients on issues of importance to them.
  • Intervening with emergency care techniques and protocols when clients are in crisis. Assessing safety risk and creating safety plans.
  • Making referrals for additional care or services when required.
  • Maintaining detailed confidential records in EHR.

Therapist Skills and Qualifications:
  • Extensive knowledge of mental health conditions and best practices for therapeutic treatment.
  • Coordinating care with clients’ other providers as applicable.
  • Responding to communication from team members and clients in a timely manner.
  • Well-developed listening and interview skills to explore client needs and administer treatment plans.
  • Strong oral communication skills to counsel and advise clients.
  • Problem-solving skills to develop effective treatment plans.
  • Motivational interviewing skills to help clients make positive changes.
  • Organization skills to maintain client files and track progress.
  • Understanding of privacy, health and safety laws.
  • Computer skills to operate electronic health record, scheduling, email and word processing software.

Requirements Include:
  • Master’s Degree or higher in respective field.
  • Fully licensed therapist (LCSW, LPC, or LMFT) or associate therapist (CSWA) with an active and unrestricted license in Oregon.
  • Reside in Oregon or Clark County, Washington.
  • No disciplinary action.
  • Minimum of 20 client hours per week.
  • Fully remote and hybrid positions available.
