Position: Bartender / Front of the House Lead

Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated, skilled, and experienced Bartender / Front of the House Lead to join our team at Tailgaters Coit. The ideal candidate will embody our core values, excel in bartending, and take on additional responsibilities to help lead our front-of-the-house team. This role requires a balance of bartending shifts and leadership duties, ensuring smooth operations and an exceptional experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide outstanding service to guests, ensuring a memorable and enjoyable experience.
  • Craft and serve a variety of high-quality beverages, including cocktails, beer, and wine.
  • Oversee front-of-the-house operations, including managing staff schedules and ensuring efficient service.
  • Handle paperwork, communications, and other administrative tasks to support front-of-the-house operations.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming environment for both guests and staff.
  • Train, mentor, and lead front-of-the-house staff, fostering a collaborative and supportive team environment.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and guests, addressing inquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally and promptly.
  • Work directly with the owners to ensure overall operational efficiency.
  • Assist with inventory management, including ordering, stocking, and tracking supplies.
  • Participate in community events and initiatives, supporting our commitment to community-driven sports passion.
  • Uphold our core values of excellence, hospitality, teamwork, and accountability in all aspects of the role.

Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a Bartender and/or Front of the House Lead in a high-volume bar or restaurant.
  • Strong knowledge of mixology, beverage service, and bar management.
  • Excellent customer service and exceptional communication skills.
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team, promoting a positive and collaborative work environment.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Ability to handle paperwork and communications efficiently.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling high-pressure situations with grace and efficiency.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Passion for sports and community engagement is a plus.
