Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure compliance with all corporate file standards.
  • Collaborate closely with Underwriting and Processing departments.
  • Verify all required documentation for insurances, disclosures, and product guidelines are complete and accurate.
  • Coordinate effectively with the Post-Closing Manager, Closing, and Secondary departments.
  • Manage the transfer of loan files to Loan Servicing.
  • Organize, ship, and track investor-requested documents as needed.
  • Prepare and track FHA case binders.
  • Assist with closing, funding, and shipping loans when required.
  • Support other tasks as assigned to ensure smooth operations.

Job Details:
As a Post-Closer, you play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful delivery of loans. Your meticulous approach ensures each loan moves through the final stages efficiently and is ready for purchase. This is a critical control point in the residential mortgage process.

Desired Skills & Experience:
  • 2-4 years of relevant industry experience, with direct post-closing experience preferred.
  • A 'get it done' attitude and self-motivation to succeed.
  • Experience with Encompass is preferred.
